We had an amazing night!! Long, late but great...Thank you to all who turned out on a very cold evening. We counted 70 people in the hall. In all we had 11 acts and were booked up by 8.00 pm! We loved the professionalism of everyone who came on stage, as this makes our job of plugging you in and making you sound good so much easier.
A special mention to Chris, the stage manager for not only organising the acts, but also for drumming and playing the (NEW!!) guitar! Also to Simon, Master of Ceremonies, for linking the acts up, avoiding too many rude words and for his leather jacket. 'Dave' & 'Julie' behind the bar, Biddy , the booze buyer, and not forgetting Knobmaster General, Mat, who now, where possible, records acts through the desk....now there's motivation to bring us well rehearsed songs...!
